MDR-Tower

Arrival in Leipzig

At first, you would need your eyes and spirit to get used to staggering beauty of Leipzig; that’s why we accommodate you in a hostel. After you have calmed your body, adapted but still shaking out of joy, we will visit the highest point in Leipzig (and possibly the world), MDR tower. A continuous looking on Leipzig from bird’s eye view for too long can damage your eyes (your brain just cannot conceive such a magnificent picture so you cannot even blink). So the rest of the evening we will spend together having barbecue, playing, conducting conversations about the magnificent view upon MDR tower.

Saturday morning

The day after, we will have breakfast at 8:30 and get ready to gaze upon further beauties of Leipzig. The best way to encompass as much as we can and not fall into a stupor is to have City Rally (exposal to uncontrollable amount of awesomeness of Leipzig causes stupor, scientifically documented). During the City Rally in the centre of Leipzig we will discover famous St. Nicholas Church, St. Thomas Church, Gewandhaus with University campus, the Augustusplatz with Opera. After a lunch break at 12, we will visit the Monument to the Battle of the Nations, one of the greatest monuments in Europe.

Park in Halle

Saturday afternoon

Finally, we will say goodbye to Leipzig, but grieve not, my friend, because we will continue our journey and admiration of the beautiful in Halle! At 14:00, we will leave from Leipzig, and after a short stop at the youth hostel in Halle we will spend time having games and fun in Halle's green heart at the river banks of the Saale, so that you can have different perspective on beauty of this city. By the way, the admiration requires a lot of energy so we will have dinner at 18:30. And then, we will delve into mysterious Halle under the cover of the night while receiving stories and anecdotes, stretching over generations.

Sunday

The day after, we will have breakfast of course. This time at 9:30 only to give you a chance to recover from the magnificent night. At this point of journey, we think we do not have to mention how amazing Halle is and how much energy and emotions it consumes to delight in merely being in there. The first stop this day will be a guided tour through Händelhaus, once a home of world famous Barock genius composer from Halle. The last, optional stop will be the ruins of Giebichenstein Castle, which ancient walls witnessed history of Halle for 11 centuries.

Fin

Unfortunately, there our journey will come to an end, but hold your tears and just try to grasp the splendour of Halle. With nostalgic smile and warmth in our souls, we will tell our children how once we visited Leipzig and Halle and it was amazing and it inspired us come back numerous times and maybe live in Leipzig or Halle forever and establish your own clan here.
